The Miracle Meal: Holy Communion Across The Globe

by

Holy communion is a sacred act of remembering the gift of Christ, and his sacrifice for us. How undeserving we are of His grace, AND YET. And yet, He would give it to us so freely.

We have been so incredibly blessed. The life-giving support that we have received over the last few years has been everything. We have been faithfully pushing to get our individual communion cups in the hands of everyone across the globe. Through our diligence, we are proud to share that we have locations in South Africa, Canada, UK and America. Plus, we distribute cups across Africa, New Zealand, Europe and South America. Our hope is that we would reach more and more people with the gift of holy communion.

Our individual communion cups include unleavened wafers and red juice. This, to symbolise the body of Christ broken for our healing, and His blood shed for our sins.

As we continue to work and distribute these communion cups across the nations, we pray that God would do what only He can do. May He open doors, soften hearts and allow our cups to facilitate a true working in every person’s heart. We believe that holy communion is a personal tool to connect us to the Father.

Luke 22:19-20

And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.”

The Miracle Meal: Brooke Ligertwood’s Communion

by

We’ve been blessed over and over again by the bread and wine of Christ. It was the thing that we have turned to countless times when we’ve felt defeated, hopeless and broken. But it’s also been the thing that has encouraged us to sing louder, as well as praise bolder and pray more faithfully.

Brooke Ligertwood recently released her new album, called Seven. The song Communion on that album has greatly expressed this gift of the bread and wine. We invite you to have a listen, and may these words stir up faith within you. We pray that these words would bring you courage, as well as bring you hope and bring you peace. He has done it all! So all we need to do is taste now and see, take of the bread and drink of the cup, take it as often we will, and then receive. Here are some key phrases that we can’t get over.

COMMUNION – BROOKE LIGERTWOOD

This is communion, Your body broken
The cup we’re drinking is bittersweet
The gift of friendship, truest salvation
Borne of Your suffering on Calvary

We remember the sacrifice of love
Remember the blood poured out for us
We remember the only Son of God upon the cross

From stained to spotless, from wrath to favour
Through You our Saviour, the work complete
In full repentance, led by Your kindness
Partake of presence as we receive

BRIDGE

How can it be, there is a table
For all who would come, for all who would come
Taste now and see, there is a table
For all who would come, for all who would come
How can it be, there is a table (Take of the bread, receive the cup)
For all who would come (For His mercy is enough)
For all who would come (For the many and the one)
(This is communion)
Taste now and see, there is a table (Take it as often as you will)
For all who would come (For His blood has power still)
For all who would come (By His wounds we shall be healed)
(This is communion)
Take of the bread, receive the cup
For His mercy is enough
For the many and the one
This is communion
Take it as often as you will
For His blood has power still
By His wounds we shall be healed
This is communion

The Miracle Meal: Our Prayer For This Broken World

by

Here at The Miracle Meal, our hearts are shattered by what is happening in the Ukraine right now. There is a lot of fear in the world. Just when things started to feel a little normal, the darkness started to attack again. Overnight war began to break out. There will be many questions floating around your head, we’re sure the recurring one has been “but why”.

We may never understand the reasons behind every scary thing that happens in our lives or in the world, but there is ONE that is steadfast through it all. When the war rages on, He has already declared victory. So we would like to take a moment to just pray for the situation in the Ukraine right now. We believe that God will do what only He can do.

“God we thank you for your faithfulness. We thank you for the times when we don’t see it, but you’re already at work. Thank you for the victory that you have already declared over this situation.

Our prayer is that you would bring peace and hope to the hopeless. To the ones who can’t see beyond this strife, God please show up in their lives. Our hearts go out to every person affected by this. We pray healing to this broken world, and healing to every broken heart. Do what only you can do. We need a miracle.

In Jesus’ name! Amen. “

Philippians 4:6-7

6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

If you are feeling anxious or scared, we invite you to turn to Christ. Whether it’s digging into the word, worshipping through it all, praying and taking part in communion. Turn to Him.

The Miracle Meal: Making Communion Accessible

by

We are focused on making communion accessible to everyone, with locations in South Africa, London, Canada and America. Not only that, but providing individual cups means that these can easily be handed out, gifted and shared. Here’s why communion is our greatest gift, as well as why our aim is to share it with the world.

COMMUNION

The bible teaches that communion is an act of remembrance for what Jesus sacrificed for us on the cross. During the last supper, Jesus broke bread with His disciples and offered them a sip of wine from a cup. He shared that the bread represented His body and that the wine represented His blood spilled for all of mankind.

Anyone who believes in Christ and His sacrifice is welcome to share in communion. Using this opportunity to celebrate the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.

Our pre-packaged communion cups includes a leavened wafer and grape juice, symbolising the body of Christ and the blood that He shed. Individual communion cups can easily be transported, shared and stored.

To find out more about communion cups available in South Africa, London, Canada and America, contact our team today. We can’t wait to get our communion cups in your hands soon.
